Service Hour Opportunities
Service Hour Opportunities @ Eastmont School
Eastmont School has such a great community feel partly due to our service hours expectations. Every preschool family is required to give 10 service hours per year and every elementary family is required to give 20 service hours per year. Below you will find a list of opportunities to log your hours here at Eastmont School. We highly recommend that 1/3 of your service go towards our annual spring auction.
Veteran’s Celebration Volunteers, Tuesday November 7th
Eastmont School’s 8th Annual Veterans Celebration is Tuesday, November 7th. We will have over 200 veterans attend the celebration and lunch that day. We have lots of opportunities to earn service hours and be a part of a special service focused event! We need kitchen helpers, greeters, clean up crew, tablecloths washers and security people. Click here to learn more and sign up.
Veteran’s Celebration Decoration Team, Monday November 6th
We need a team of 4 people to work with Lonna Carnahan to decorate the gym for our Veteran’s Day Celebration. The decoration team will meet the day before the celebration on Monday, November 6th from 2-3:30pm in the gym. To sign up click here. Thanks!
Every first and third Friday of the month, Eastmont elementary students get to spend their “Eagle Bucks” at our very own “Eagle Depot.” Students receive Eagle Bucks when they are caught doing something awesome. If you are interested in helping set up and run the store please click here to sign up. If you have new or slightly used items to donate to the store please bring your donations to Calah at the school office.
Monday Morning Chair Team
The chair team meets on Monday’s from 9:00-9:30 am to stack and wheel the chairs from the church sanctuary. This allows us to use the sanctuary as our school gym. You can sign up for one day or several days by clicking here: Chair Team Sign-up
Friday Run Club
Most Friday’s, weather permitting, Kindergarten – 5th grade students sign up and run laps with the goal of completing a 26 mile marathon by the end of the school year. Parent volunteers track laps, cheer kids on, and ensure saftey for the runners. You can sign up by clicking here: Run Club Volunteer Sign-up
