Eastmont Christian Elementary School
| 4’s Program
In our 4’s program, we provide 4-year-old students (must turn 4 before September 1) with many learning based centers and activities alongside with structured teaching time.
We offer a Monday/Wednesday/Friday AM class that meets from 9:00-11:30 am and a Monday/Wednesday/Friday PM class that meets from 1:00-3:30 pm. Each class has 2 certified teachers and a maximum capacity of 18 students.
Each week our students have Spanish, Music, & PE taught by our specials teachers.
We use the Zaner Blozer handwriting program which focuses on letter strokes and pathways. We also use the “Letter People” curriculum to teach letters and letter sounds.
Every day we have “Jesus Time.” This is a combination of prayer, Bible stories, and flannel stories.
Our academic curriculum consists of many different topics. Our main focuses are:
- Recognizing numbers 1 – 10 and counting 1 – 20
- One to one correspondence
- Classifying objects
- Colors, shapes, sizes
- Letter recognition & sounds
We aim to combine a fun learning environment with academic enrichment and building Christlike character in our classroom!
